Pre-School Core Aims
Learning through play is the principal which guides the activities which are organised for the children
These activities have been devised to promote seven areas of learning which enable children to work towards the Early Learning Goals of the Foundation Stage in education.
- Personal, social and emotional development
- Communication, language and literacy
- Problem solving and reasoning
- Knowledge and understanding of the world
- Physical development
- Creative development
Children have access to paint, glue and craft materials at each session and are encouraged in small groups under adult supervision to produce something with these materials.
There is also a large range of new toys, games and music providing a varied experience throughout the day, week and year
