The Maharajah’s Diamond
Let us transport you to the Roaring 20s. At a large country house, a cryptic note has been opened after 10 years, speaking of a hidden jewel with alleged magic powers. A suffragette archaeologist, a young flapper and her guardian and a gentleman adventurer turn up out of the blue. When one of them is killed, the audience must act quickly to find not only the murderer, but also to break the code to discover the secret location of the jewel. Set to a soundtrack of 1920’s music, and including a little mind reading, this is an evening full of fun and adventure.
1st Sunday of the month - Quiz Night at The Chequers Pub from 8PM
Members for the Pre-School Team always needed and all proceed go to the Pre-School. Current total raised in 2011 is £498 - many thanks to all that attend and run the Quiz
Although we get funding for the children we still need to fund raise to boost the coffers to provide new equipment and toys. We regularly run throughout the year various events to do this, both by the children and parents, friends and families.
The aim is to make these events fun and social and allow everyone to take part.
Recent events include Chocolate Tombolas, Car Washes, Wellie Waddles, Concerts from Shannion Express and the all famous Christmas Bazaar.

Congrats to the Pre-School Team who won the Annual Village Goodwill Fund Quiz. The Team made up of Jim, Darrell, Damer, Clive, James, Martin and Donna beat 12 other teams to the title. Good Effort!
Quiz & Chips Sat 7th Jan 2012
A great turn out for the Quiz and Chips at the Chequers with over £200 raised on the night bringing the total to over £700 for the year. Thanks to Clive for Saturday and to Jan and all the other quiz masters throughout the year. We really do appreciate it!
